About Spool & Spoke
Spool & Spoke helps you choose, set up and fix 3D printers, filament and accessories, plus a small section on electric bikes. We gather what manufacturers publish, what named publications have published, and what owners report, then link all of it so you can check it yourself.
What we cover
- 3D printers: brand guides, comparisons and buying guides for current models.
- Filament and compatibility: which materials work with which printers, nozzles and filament systems.
- Troubleshooting: common problems and the fixes the manufacturer recommends.
- Accessories: nozzles, build plates, dry boxes and similar add-ons.
- Electric bikes: alternatives and use-case guides.
How we work
We do not test products ourselves. Every page cites at least two sources: manufacturer documentation first, then articles by named publications, then owner reports with links and sample sizes. Each page shows a Last verified date, which is when we last reopened every source on it. The full method is on our How We Research page.
Who writes here
Articles are published under editorial pen names, and each pen name covers one subject area. They are not real people, and we don’t attach credentials to them.

How we’re funded
We may earn affiliate commissions from some links in the future. Today every link goes straight to the official site and earns us nothing. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains how we’ll mark paid links.
