Affiliate Disclosure
Spool & Spoke is reader-supported. This page explains how the links on our site work and how we’ll mark them if we earn money from them.
Where things stand today
As of the date at the bottom of this page, we don’t belong to any affiliate program. Every product button and link goes straight to the manufacturer’s official website or store. We earn nothing when you click one or buy something.
When we join an affiliate program
Once a program approves us, some links will become affiliate links. If you click one and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When that happens:
- Every affiliate link and button gets a Paid link label right next to it.
- Pages with affiliate links show a short disclosure near the top, before the first link.
- This page will name each program we’ve actually joined. We won’t list programs we haven’t joined.
How this affects our content
- Commissions never decide our rankings or recommendations. We include products we don’t earn from when they’re the better choice, and we always link the official source.
- We don’t accept payment for placement or free products in exchange for coverage.
- We don’t list prices. Specs and availability change, so check the manufacturer’s site before you buy. The Last verified date on each page tells you when we last checked our sources.
How we research is explained on our How We Research page. To contact us, see our About page.
